Thought it was just a design change, what's different between 1 and 2 besides the whole Boom angle?
Plus, there are voices for each character in Dash 2.(though every time Sonic say “Good work” I'll mistake it for “woodwork” the moment I hear it.lol)
Lol well there definitely sounds like there was more effort put into the actual game, I guess the appeal of the original Sonic Dash comes in being able to use specific characters that aren't in Boom. Such as Cream or Blaze.
It might be,but using those characters doen't make much difference in gameplay, unlike Dash 2.I was a bit excited when I got my hands on Cream in Dash 1,but later I got bored quickly.
Truth lol. All the characters play exactly the same, it's just a palette swap. Of course, with a game like Sonic Dash, there's only so much you can do to add diversity. The goal is still run forward and collect rings no matter who you are.
Everyone in Boom Dash has their own abilities, like Knuckle Slam and Shadow's chaos spear. That makes it more motivative for players to unlock all the characters and see what they can do.And the combo counter makes the gameplay a bit more drastic. Also the enerbeam part and rail-grinding part are pretty cool too.Even the events in Dash 2 is better than that simple and boring collect-tokens-to-win-characters thing.Though, the sprites system kinda sucks,in my personal opinion.
