Never did see the appeal of the Amiibo's. I mean they're cute and all, but I'd rather play the game myself tbh.

Also, that's a custom amiibo you see in the pic. Yep, what I made is pretty simple using atoy figure purchased online. But hey, there are actually some people who are really good at making figures, who made amiibo's that has never been made by Nintendo, such as the amiibo's of their own Mii. I have to say that's pretty cool.

I suppose. I guess I've just never been big into figurines and collectibles. If most of the time it's just gonna sit on my desk and collect dust, then it's not for me. Certainly not judging you for liking them though

Well, we all know people have different hobbies. You're not liking collecting stuff? It's totally fine.
It's strange I can't even describe the reason I like collecting figures and stuff, but I hope you can understand that some people just have this kind of hobby.

Amiibo can have some effect towards the gameplay, but not too much, or else they'll ruin the game. For instance, you want Link in BotW to wear a green tunic like in Wind Waker? Toon Link amiibo's got ya covered. Love that outfit. And the Twilight Princess one too. Looks pretty cool. You can wear those outfits when you feel like doing so while still enjoying the game all you want.

By the way, there are also some people who collect amiibo's only as figures. That's also a point. But as far as I'm concerned, if they can add a little bit extra fun to the game, then why the heck not.

Anyway, to have or not to have an amiibo is the player's choice. You like it, you can buy one. You don't get it, then you can also stay cool without one. It's simple.
